A professional race driver in the United Kingdom prepared a BMW F87 M2 for competitive track events and needed repeatable braking, precise pedal feel, and thermal stability over extended sessions.
Selected setup
The driver selected the active TEI GT60-MONO six-piston racing kit. The source case records 378×35.5 mm rotors, TEI ceramic pads, internal fluid routing, and a stainless-steel brake-line configuration. Pad compound selection was treated as an application decision rather than a universal recommendation.
Result
The completed setup was reported to deliver consistent braking lap after lap, a sharp pedal, and improved heat management. The case is specific to a professional track application and should not be read as a street setup recommendation.
